1. Introduction

“KNEW” is an educational application developed and operated by Kru P’New Tutor Math (the “Institute”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our mobile application and services.

2. Information We Collect

All user accounts are provisioned based on enrollment with the Institute. The personal information collected and processed includes:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Full name, email address, and phone number.

  • Academic Data: Student ID, enrolled courses, learning progress, assignment submissions, and test scores.

  • Device & Technical Data: Device identifiers, operating system version, and basic technical logs necessary for authentication, session management, and app stability.

3. Purpose of Data Usage

We use the collected information strictly for educational management and application functionality:

  • Authenticating user access and securing student accounts.

  • Tracking learning progress, attendance, and course completion.

  • Enabling student-teacher communication and assignment submissions.

  • Improving educational content and app performance.

  • No Marketing Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Account and Data Deletion (User Rights & Self-Service Deletion)

Users have full control over their personal data and account lifecycle:

  • In-App Account Deletion: You can delete your account directly inside the application at any time by navigating to the bottom of the Profile screen and selecting “Delete Account”.

  • Complete Data Erasure: Once the deletion is confirmed, all associated personal data is permanently deleted from KNEW’s databases and servers. This includes your full name, phone number, email address, registered device data, and academic records. We do not retain any residual personal data once the account is wiped.

  • Web-Based Deletion Request (Alternative Channel): If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your account, you may submit a permanent deletion request by contacting us via this link https://krupeenew.com/deleteaccount/ Upon identity verification, your account and all associated data will be permanently purged.

5. Data Security & Encryption

We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse:

  • Data in Transit: All communications between the KNEW application and our backend servers are encrypted using standard Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS) protocols.

  • Access Control: Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorized administrative and teaching personnel who require access to perform educational services.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties, except to essential cloud infrastructure and service providers (such as hosting and database services) strictly necessary to operate the application. These providers process data solely on our behalf under strict confidentiality and security agreements.

7. Children’s Privacy

As an educational service frequently used by secondary school students, we are committed to protecting the privacy of minors. Account creation and access are administered in coordination with students and their parents or legal guardians upon enrollment. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental or institutional consent.
